Services

What you can hire me for.

Three packages. The price is agreed before anything begins and it doesn’t change once we start.

What’s below is the shape of each one rather than a fixed menu. If something in one package matters to you and something in another doesn’t, we sort that out on the call.

  1. Brand Strategy

    1

Working out what you’re saying, before anyone designs anything.

Also for founders who already have a designer and need the thinking sorted first.

    You get
    • Who your customer is and what they actually care about
    • What makes you different from the others they’re considering
    • How to talk about yourself, in words you can copy straight into your website and emails
    • All of it written down, so anyone who works on your brand later knows the rules

Can be addedBrand Naming, if you don’t have one yet or the one you have isn’t working. You get name options with the reasoning behind each, plus a check on what’s already taken online, including domains and social handles. That is not a trademark check, so you’ll want a lawyer to run one before you commit. Priced separately.

    Two weeksFrom £800
  2. Brand Identity

    2

The thinking and the design together, because one doesn’t work without the other.

This is the one most founders need. It works the same way if you already have a brand that needs bringing forward.

    You get
    • Everything in Brand Strategy
    • Your logo, in every version you’ll need, including small and single colour
    • Your colours, with the exact codes for print and for screen
    • Your fonts
    • Brand assets: illustrations, patterns, icons, whatever the brand needs
    • How your photography should look, so it fits everything else
    • Brand guidelines: simple rules so anyone you hire uses it all properly
    • Every file, in the formats printers and web developers ask for
    Four to six weeksFrom £1,500
  3. Packaging

    3

For products that need to stand out on a shelf and on a screen.

The more products in the range, the lower the price for each one.

    You get
    • Artwork set up to fit your exact pack, ready for your manufacturer
    • Space laid out for the information you’re required to show
    • Print-ready files, checked before they go
    • The same design applied across your range as it grows
    Two weeksFrom £500 per product

Often added later

  • Art direction
  • Web and digital design
  • Campaign and social
  • Presentation design
  • Editorial and print
  • Workshops

Each is priced on its own, always agreed before it starts.

How it works

How it works.

Before we start

  1. You get in touch

Through the form or by email.

  2. We get on a call

We work out what you actually need, and whether I’m the right person for it.

  3. I send a proposal

What’s included, the price and the timeline.

  4. You book your slot

If it’s a yes, you sign the contract and pay half. That books your slot in my calendar.

Once you’ve booked

  1. Questions first

I send you a questionnaire about your business, your customers and what already exists.

  2. Kick-off call

We go through your answers properly. You don’t need to prepare a brief. We work through it together.

  3. Strategy

I work out the thinking and present it back to you. You sign it off before I open a design file. Nothing gets designed against a plan you haven’t agreed to.

  4. Design

I present one direction, with the reasoning behind every choice. Occasionally two, when there’s a real question worth seeing both answers to. You won’t get five logos to pick from, because picking a favourite isn’t the same as making a decision.

  5. Changes

Three rounds are included. Because every direction comes with its reasoning, the conversation tends to be about whether the decision is right rather than about taste.

  6. Finishing

You get every file in the formats you need, with simple rules for using it all. The rest of the payment is due before I send the final files.

Questions

What founders ask before they hire me.

1

Services & offerings

What kind of projects do you take on?
Brand strategy, identity and packaging for founder-led businesses. Product or service, pre-launch or already trading. If your brand needs deciding as much as it needs designing, that is the work I do best.
Can you help with just a logo?
No. A logo on its own doesn’t make a brand. It works next to the positioning, the colour, the type and the way all of it behaves together. On its own it’s just a mark. If a logo really is all you need, I’m not the right fit.
Do you design websites too?
Yes, as part of an identity project or on its own. The site should carry the brand, not reinterpret it.
2

Process & workflow

What is your design process like?
You book, we talk, we make the decisions together, then I design them. Every direction comes with its reasoning, so you always know why it looks the way it does.
How involved will I be?
I need you for the decisions and not much else. One working session at the start, honest answers when I ask for them. You do not need a brief. Making the brief is my job.
How do you handle revisions?
Three rounds of changes are included. Because every direction comes with its reasoning, feedback tends to be about the decision rather than about taste, which makes it faster for both of us.
3

Pricing & collaboration

How much does a project cost?
Each package has a fixed price. You get the exact number when you enquire, and it does not change once we start.
Do you work with hourly rates?
No. Fixed prices, agreed before anything begins. You should never feel nervous about sending me an email.
Do you take on retainers?
Yes, for ongoing design and art direction once a brand is established. It works best when there is a steady flow of applied work.
4

Practicalities

How long does a typical project take?
Identity projects usually run four to six weeks. Packaging depends on how many products. Your proposal will have the honest timeline before you commit to anything.
Will I own the final files?
Yes. On final payment, full ownership of the delivered work transfers to you, including editable source files.
Can you sign an NDA?
Yes. Send it over before we talk and I will sign it.

Tell me what you’re building.

Send a short message about your business. If it looks like a fit, we’ll book a call.
